Terms of Sale
We Simplify Your Diamond & Fine Jewelry Shopping by Saving You Time & Money. Our pro-
cedure is straightforward and simple. Tell us precisely what you need, and we will get to work.
Unlike a conventional showroom, we do not restrict your creativity. If you require a unique item,
we will acquire it for you. Most fine jewelry and mountings are purchased directly from the pro-
ducer, eliminating markups imposed by middlemen.
We meet online or in person (by appointment only) in Manhattan's Diamond Tower, located at
580 Fifth Avenue, Lower lobby jewelry offices. New York, NY. 10036, to discuss your needs,
aesthetic preferences, and budget. We source an assortment of exquisite jewelry and gemstones
from our own collections.
To enter into a contract with Operation47, you must be over the age of 18 and hold a credit or
debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. Operation47 reserves the right to refuse service for
any reason. You represent and warrant that the information you enter on the order form is true
and accurate, that you are an authorized user of the credit or debit card used to place the order,
and that there are adequate funds to cover the cost of the items. All orders are contingent on
product availability and confirmed order price.
Our products consist of diamond jewelry and loose precious stones. Custom jewelry creation,
ring resizing, and other repairs. We collaborate with jewelry wholesalers. If the client selects an
item, the company sends the item straight to the client, but we give the firm customer informa-
tion and send clients an invoice for the items, services and shipping. We also work with dealers,
jewelers , diamond setters.
We perform a normal authorization check on your payment card upon receiving your order to en-
sure there are adequate funds to fulfill the transaction. Your credit card will be charged after the
authorization is granted.
Shipping Policy
Free Domestic, Insured Shipping
All of our domestic shipments in the US are shipped free of charge. Customers can select expedited
shipping methods for a surcharge.
Our international shipments carry a $50 charge and are shipped through FedEx Priority International
service. All shipments are fully insured from the time your package leaves our premises to
the moment you accept it. All FPO, APO, and DPO shipments will be shipped using the United
States Postal Service priority mail service.
International Orders
We accept orders from most international countries. Please note, recipient is responsible for all
customs duties, taxes and fees associated with international shipment.
Signature Required
To protect you against fraud, regardless of the size of your order, all packages require a signature
upon delivery, regardless of any signature waivers you have signed.
Expedited Shipping
At Checkout, we offer a range of options to upgrade your shipping for expedited delivery in time
for a fast approaching special occasion.
Alternate Address
No unfortunately, we do not allow the billing address to be different than shipping address, with
one exception. We understand that jewelry is often bought as a surprise, as such we allow cus-
tomers to have their packages be shipped directly to a FedEx location for pick up. A FedEx loca-
tion of your choice can be selected during the checkout process. A FedEx hold is the most secure
way to receive a package as it requires a direct signature from you.
Jewelry/Gem Box
We know that jewelry is often a gift and we make sure that we send it to you in a box that is
ready to make the moment. Every order comes in a distinctly beautiful box creating that moment
where you each hold your breath before you open it.
Please note:
If a shipped item is returned to us due to your error (typographical or otherwise) or failure to ac-
cept the package (whether you have refused acceptance or not been present to accept), you will
be charged a $40 fee to cover the complete shipping and insurance associated with that failed
shipment. If the shipping address has to be changed after shipping, but while still en route, you
will be charged a $25 fee to cover the incremental cost to us.
Return Policy
We offer a very simple and straightforward 14-day money-back return policy on your purchases.
We will even pay for return shipping on most U.S. orders. Our risk-free return policy allows you
to be confident and at ease when purchasing from us.
Note: Valid only for items returned in their unworn, original condition within 14 days of the
shipping date. For repairs, customers are responsible for shipping costs.
Free Domestic Return Shipping
We believe that if you don't love your order, it shouldn't cost you anything to return your item.
This is why we will pay for return shipping (FedEx 2nd day) on all domestic orders. Simply fill
out the Return request form to start the process. Complimentary return label will only be pro-
vided if the shipment will arrive to us by the 14 days. If not, customers will need to arrange ship-
ping and pay the postage. Only one courtesy return label will be provided to a customer within a
6 month period. International customers will need to return items at their expense. Orders with
multiple gemstones or comparison shopping orders will need to return items at their expense if
all the gemstones within the order are returned.
Note: Customers are responsible for shipping expenses for all repairs.
Returnable Items
You can return ready made in finished form item for a refund except items specified in the non-
returnable items below.
Non-Returnable Items
• Custom Jewelry items, that are hand crafted or designed in CAD based on customer requirements.
• Astrological Jewelry items, gem stones
• Jewelry orders with personally engraved message.
• Gemstones with personalized laser inscriptions.
• Loose gemstone purchases that have been set into jewelry by a third-party jeweler.
• Lab and Natural Diamonds listed as Final Sale.
Exchanges
Only items that are returnable may be exchanged within our 14 day return period. As all our
pieces are made to order, all exchanges are final sale. Subsequently, if an order is returned within
the 14 day return period, and a like for like item is purchased within 6 months of the original or-
der, this new order will also be considered a final sale. Please note that Loose gems are exempted
from our final sale policy on exchanges.
Refund Amount and Method
We offer 100% refund for your order amount less expedited shipping and service charges elected
during purchase. All refunds will be made in the same manner they were received. Payments
from wire transfer will be refunded via check.
Free Ring Resizing
Operation47 offers one free ring resizing within 90 days of your purchase. Simply ship the item
to us and pay for return shipping. Resizing generally takes 3-5 business days. Please note that
this policy is subject to the ring being resizable. There may be an additional charge for resizing a
ring by greater than one (1) full size as we may need to remake the ring.
Terms and Conditions
This policy is subject to certain conditions:
- Items must be returned within the due date specified on the invoice you received (14 days
from the shipment date). Any returns received after this period will not be accepted.
- Items must be returned in their original, unworn, undamaged condition with the original tags
(where applicable) never having been removed - no exceptions.
- Any international package returned without an RA Code may not be accepted.
- Accompanying certificates must be returned. Missing certificates will cause the replacement
cost to be deducted from the refund amount (minimum $125, but can be greater depending on the
certificate or appraisal).
- Accompanying appraisals must be returned. Missing appraisals will cause the replacement cost
to be deducted from the refund amount (fixed $125).
- Operation 47 will not reimburse you for unauthorized shipping expenses incurred. You are responsible for
any charges incurred if you choose to ship the return package through a different
carrier than that which Operation47 provides for. Do not ship returns C.O.D. Please note that in
the event you disregard this condition, Operation47 reserves the right to charge your credit card
for any fees we incur upon receipt of your package.
